Creating the Factory of the Future by Combining Optical Technology and FA Equipment Development Technology
In addition to the clean technology and precision mechanical technology we have cultivated as a manufacturer of exposure systems and FA equipment, we design and manufacture equipment that meets customer needs by utilizing high-quality optical technology, including solar simulators inherited from Wacom Denso.
In addition to our standard lineup of solar simulators, we offer a wide range of services from the design and manufacture of individual devices to the construction of entire production lines.
A solar simulator is a device that artificially creates light similar to sunlight. Sunlight changes in wavelength and intensity depending on location and time, but a solar simulator can reproduce sunlight under specific conditions. For example, the spectrum of sunlight on the ground changes as it passes through the atmosphere, but in space it is unaffected. The Solar Simulator can use an air mass filter to simulate the effects of the atmosphere. AM1.5 simulates the environment on the ground (passing through the atmosphere), and AM0 simulates sunlight in space. Solar simulators are often used to evaluate the performance of solar cells, as well as for photo-degradation testing of building materials and paints, durability testing of cosmetics, and photosynthesis research on plants and photocatalysts.
The performance of solar simulators is classified into three ranks (A, B, and C) according to JIS standards, and is evaluated using such indices as irradiance (light intensity), uniformity of irradiated surface (unevenness of light), wavelength matching (spectral difference from sunlight), and time variability (lamp stability). Our solar simulators provide light sources that are as close to sunlight as possible, with some models achieving a wavelength congruency (spectral congruency) of ±10%, which exceeds Class A (±25%).
Combining the equipment development technology we have cultivated as a manufacturer of FA equipment with optical solutions, we can provide a one-stop service not only for equipment but also for the construction of production lines.
We have a standard lineup of solar simulators, as well as dedicated options such as IV measurement systems and sample stands (sample stages), all developed in-house. Customization of software is also available.
We offer a wide range of services, from the design and manufacture of experimental equipment and devices to the construction of entire production lines. We have experience in building production lines for space solar power sources and the latest perovskite solar cells, for which demand has been increasing in recent years.
In addition to solar simulators, we offer a wide variety of light source devices such as xenon lamps, UV lamps, halogen lamps, lasers, and LEDs.
