This is a "hybrid solar simulator for research and development" that carries forward Wacom Denso's technology.

Manufactured for the research theme "Development of Solar Power Knitted Fabric and Smart Interior for Solar Power" at the Fukui Prefectural Industrial Technology Center in February of the fourth year of Reiwa, it is a solar simulator and measurement system with an effective irradiation area of 1.5m×1.0m, compliant with IEC60904/Class AAA standards.
With a simple lever switch, this device allows you to use both spectral distributions: AM1.5, which matches natural sunlight, and AM0, suitable for space applications. It enables evaluation of large irradiation area modules with different characteristics of AM1.5 and AM0 in one unit, reducing both costs and space while maintaining high-quality light.

Introduction Examples

・Filter switching is done easily with a lever. By adjusting the lamp current, you can switch between AM1.5 and AM0.
・The maximum pulse duration is 800 milliseconds, allowing for measurements of solar cells with slow light responses.
・The sample stage for large workpieces is adjustable in height, allowing it to accommodate various workpiece thicknesses.
・The measurement unit has been improved for ease of use, providing fast and accurate results.
・The effective irradiation area is 1.5m × 1.0m.
・The applicable standard is IEC60904 (Class AAA).
